PARK CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – Skiing is just one of the many ways to celebrate Thanksgiving especially for people in Park City as Park City Mountain Resort opened.
The lifts at PCMR were originally scheduled to open Friday, November 17, but the resort had to delay opening until Thanksgiving. That didn’t stop people from lining up.
“Everybody loves opening day. Get out on the snow, especially Thanksgiving. Spend time with friends and family and get the season started,” said Bill Rock with PCMR.
Quite a few people got an early start on the slopes before they sat down for Thanksgiving dinner. PCMR says early season is great time to come out and learn to ski. The resort will be offering special deals all through fall.
