Monster Block Party returns to Gallivan Center Oct. 28

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – Are you looking for Halloween fun for the entire family?

The Monster Block Party is returning to the Gallivan Center Saturday, October 28. It's a free, daytime Halloween festival outside on the Gallivan Center plaza for families and kids of all ages.

There will be trick-or-treating booths, a costume contest with prizes (kid, teen, and adult divisions), free arts and crafts projects, a pumpkin drop from a Salt Lake City Fire Department truck, live performances, and more! The pumpkin drop is scheduled to begin at 12:15 p.m. 

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

How to enter the costume contest
Show up to the event in costume and show them off at the Power94.9 and B98.7 radio station booths! They will be handing out invitations to participate in the contest for 5 different age and family groups. The contest is at 2:30 p.m. on the Gallivan Center stage with lots of great prizes so stick around for that!
