Man found dead in West Point home identified, suspect in custody

WEST POINT, Utah (ABC4 News) - Deputies in Davis County are investigating after a man was found dead inside a home in West Point early Sunday morning. 

Captain Jen Daley, Davis County Sheriff's Office said they were called to the home on 438 North 3275 West around 1:30 a.m. when they arrived they found 30-year-old Colby Scott Barney dead.

Police say it appeared that the man living in the home, 28-year-old Robin William Lundin shot Barney. 

"Our initial investigation has lead us to believe that Mr. Barney was invited to the home of Mr. Lundin.  The two individuals engaged in an argument that resulted in Mr. Barney being shot in the chest," a press release said.

Lundin was booked into Davis County Jail and is facing murder charges.

The investigation is ongoing.
