UPDATE* all protocols have been lifted.
A handful of schools in the Granite School District were place on a shelter-in-place Monday as police investigated reports of gun fire.
They say Hunter High and elementary students are on shelter-in-place.
Initially the district placed Kennedy Jr., and Academy Park on shelter-in-place as well, but the protocol was lifted from Kennedy Jr. and Academy Park shortly after the announcement.
School officials there is no direct threat to students. They ask that parents stay away from the campus during the protocol. Anyone with questions may call 385-646-4529.
