Four Charged in String of Robberies in Salt Lake Valley

Robberies Occured in September 2016

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) Four Utah men have been charged in string of robberies in the Salt Lake Valley during September 2016. 
Tyrell Anthony Jones, 23, Damon Keith Grigsby, 19, Isaiah Alexander Jones, 19, and Tristan Melchizadek, 20, all of Salt Lake City, were charged in connection with multiple robberies between September 10-12, 2016. 
Robberies occurred at the following locations:
  • 7-Eleven store 510 East 1300 South
  • Subway 3197 South Redwood road in West Valley City
  • CVS Pharmacy 3148 West 3500 South in West Valley City
  • 7-Eleven store  1692 West North Temple
  • Nike Factory store 3736 West Center Drive in West Jordan
  • Maverik store at 514 West 3900 South 
All suspects face multiple counts of robbery, each carrying a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. James and Grigsby face additional charges for allegedly using firearms during the robberies.
