Film Critic Tony Toscano reviews "Wonder" on DVD/Blu-Ray Tuesday

2/13/2018 - SALT LAKE CITY, Utah(News4Utah) It's DVD/Blu-Ray Tuesday, which means new movies are out to buy or rent. Today, there's one movie people are really looking forward to. Film Critic Tony Toscano has the review.

New this week on Blu-ray and DVD, "Wonder" tells the incredible true story of August Pullman, a boy with a facial deformity who enters fifth grade, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time.

What could have been an over indulgent and over-the-top family film, turns out to be a very warm and heartfelt compassionate journey that everyone should take.

"Wonder" is a film about overcoming obstacles and finding its what's inside that counts without the usual lecture that many of these films make you sit through.

With it's behind-the-scenes featurette and other extras, "Wonder" on DVD gets an A and is rated PG.
