JUAB COUNTY, Utah (News4 Utah) – The family of two teenagers who disappeared on December 30 say the Jeep they were traveling in was found.
According to Facebook page set up by loved ones of Breezy Otteson, 17, and Riley Powell, 18, the jeep was found by Civil Air Patrol. It was found about one mile south of Cherry Creek Reservoir on a road hidden in trees.
The teens are still missing and there has been no internet, cell phone or financial activity from either of them. Otteson and Powell left Tooele on December 30 headed for Eureka through Spanish Fork.
Before their vehicle was found, multiple search parties were formed to look for teens between the two destinations.
The post goes on to say, the Jeep had two flat tires and all the windows were down. Family says authorities have not found any signs of foul play at this time.
Cadaver dogs were reportedly released with no indication of them being nearby. Juab County officials continue to search the area.
Anyone who might have information about the teens whereabouts is asked to call 801-419-2050 or 385-505-3972.
This is a developing story. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
