CACHE COUNTY, Utah (News4Utah) - Search and Rescue crews spent the night with a stranded hiker in Logan Canyon Sunday.
The 19-year-old hiker called Cache County Dispatch after he became trapped on a cliff area near Second Dam. The hiker stated that he was not injured.
After crews arrived, it was determined that the hiker did not have proper clothing for the night. LifeFlight was called but was unable to land. Supplies were dropped to him including food, water and a sleeping bag.
Rescue crews hiked up to where the hiker was and spent the night with him. Monday morning, he was hoisted off of the mountain safely.
