Charges filed against man accused of shooting Herriman homeowner, firing at officer

SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah)- Charges have been filed against the man accused of shooting and injuring a Herriman homeowner and firing shots at an officer.

Justin Gary Llewelyn, is facing several charges including two counts of attempted criminal homicide, aggravated murder, and aggravated burglary.

Charges were also filed against Llewelyn's sister, Misty Nichole Case Llewelyn, and mother, Tasha Rae.

Officials say the two allegedly lied to officers with the intent to "hinder, delay or prevent the investigation, apprehension or prosecution of [Llewelyn]." They are facing obstruction of justice charges.

On Jan. 29th, Llewelyn's aunt, Keria Jessica Hartley-Johnson, was charged with similar charges.
