95-Year-Old Man Hit By Car in Spanish Fork Dies

SPANISH FORK, Utah (ABC4 Utah)- A 95-year-old man is dead after police say he was hit by a car just before 7p.m. Monday night in Spanish Fork.

It happened at 720 North Main Street.

Lt. Matt Johnson with Spanish Fork police says  the man, later identified as Ralph H. Andrus, was attempting to cross the intersection of Main Street at 700 North when he was hit.

Andrus was transported to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Lt. Johnson says the driver who hit him is being cooperative and so far isn't facing charges.
