Weakened inversions have helped with our air quality, but a quick weekend storm will help mix things up a lot more. Northern Utah will see increasing clouds through Friday, with rain showers turning to snow showers overnight. The valley floors can expect to see a dusting or a couple inches, with 2-5" in the mountains. This will help air quality substantially, but may not be strong enough to completely clean out our air. An inversion will set up again for the start of the week bringing more haze and patchy overnight fog. The middle of next week looks to bring another system - but we won't get too excited until it gets closer.
Southern Utah will see clouds increase going into Friday evening, but won't see much moisture - if any. Winds will be breezy through the weekend as this storm system passes through the state. Mostly clear skies until the middle of next week where there's potential for rain showers. Stay tuned!
