The Utah State Board of Education released grades for Utah public schools Monday.
Utah law requires schools be given a letter grade based on student proficiency and growth on SAGE tests and for high schools, ACT tests and graduation rates.
66 elementary schools received an "A" grade. Only eight high schools were given the same honor.
On the other end of the spectrum, 21 elementary schools and 26 high schools received an "F" grade.
Canyons, Alpine, Davis, and Salt Lake School Districts had the highest number of A grades. Granite School District had the most "F" elementary and high school grades.
