SALT LAKE CITY (ABC News)- A non profit group called the College Board is raising awareness about the nation's high school drop out rate.

To visually show the seriousness of the problem, 857 desks were set up at the National Mall.  This represents the number of students nationally that drop out of school every single hour.

The presentation has drawn national attention and the College Board hopes the issue will be a priority in the 2012 presidential campaign.
