The seizures came as a result of a nationwide initiative called “Operation Red Zone”.

With three days left before Super Bowl XLVII, agents have seized more than 160,000 items of phony Super Bowl-related memorabilia along with other counterfeit items for a total take of more than $13.6 million. Due to the increased activity of counterfeiting operations around the world, this year the operation began in September and will continue through February 6th.
The 30 websites Utah agents shutdown were just part of the 313 websites shutdown across the country.
Authorities across the country targeted warehouses, stores, flea markets, online vendors and street vendors selling counterfeit game-related sportswear and tickets throughout the country.
