SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Utah House Democratic Leader David Litvack announced Monday that he will not seek reelection this fall.
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Utah House Democratic Leader David Litvack announced Monday that he will not seek reelection this fall.

In a statement released to the media by the Utah House Democratic Caucus, Litvack said he was quitting to spend more time with his family.

Litvack (D-Salt Lake City/West Valley City) was first elected to the State Legislature in 2000, and has served as House Democratic Leader for the last 4 years.

Litvack was born in Minnesota and received a bachelor's degree from Westminster College and a master's degree from the University of Chicago.
