SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Police in Logan made what they call a ”significant” drug bust involving a two men staying at a motel.

Police say Erik Trong Sigvaldsen and Zachary Summers were holding a significant amount of drugs inside a safe hidden inside dresser drawer.

Police were led to the two men after a store employee recognized one of them as a suspect in an earlier alleged shoplifting.

Police say the men were followed to a motel where they were questioned, and Sigvaldsen gave officers a false name.

After checking the name, police say they were able to identify Sigvaldsen as a man wanted on warrants out of Oregon.

After obtaining a warrant, police found marijuana, meth and prescription drugs that were packaged for sale in separate plastic bags inside the safe.

Summers and Sigvaldsen were booked into the Cache County Jail, where they face several drug-related charges.
