Nicea loves morning television in Utah! A self-proclaimed "night person," she has been getting up and hopping onto the Good Things Utah set for over a decade now.
After graduating from BYU in Broadcasting, Nicea began her career at ABC 4 in 1995 as an associate producer. Six months later she became the station's crime reporter, covering stories like the Elizabeth Smart abduction, security at the 2002 Winter Olympics and 9/11 and it's impact on our state.
Along with reporting, Nicea anchored the weekend news for several years before being invited to join a brand new show in the fall of 2002, when Good Things Utah debuted. Along with co-hosting a show that would earn an Emmy and lead the way in Utah morning lifestyle television, Nicea anchored the early morning news, then called 'AM Express.'
In 2010, Nicea added a new show to her morning routine -- the sassy little sister to Good Things Utah called The Daily Dish. The show is all about local Utah entertainment, celebrities, fashion and what's trending now.
With fan favorite Good Things Utah at 9:00 am and now The Daily Dish at 11:00, (plus getting her kids off to school even earlier) Nicea's mornings couldn't be busier... but it's just the way she likes it!
