Want to know more? We answered some of your questions about Nightingale College!
• How long is the program?
“If students come with all the general education completed, the core nursing courses take as little as 16 months to complete. There are 14 credits of general education required to start in the ADN Program.”
• Do you still have a “no waiting list” policy?
“We do offer all qualified candidates admittance into the next open semester and the next two starts are Sept 1st, and Jan 5th.”
• What about Job placement for your graduates?
“We offer career services immediate and life-time career services. In 2013 we had a placement rate of 90% of our graduates into RN related jobs. We are above the national average and doing very commendable. Our nurses are working in all aspects of healthcare. They coordinate care for chronically ill patients, promote health, and prevent diseases. Acute care, long term care, and other healthcare related professions are where you can find our graduates.”
• Future Plans for Nightingale?
“We are waiting on the final word for our accreditors to start a RN-BSN Program in the Sept. If they go beyond the Sept start date we will start taking applications for January.”
