Curtis' Thursday Pinpoint Forecast

hursday's Pinpoint Forecast: High pressure rules the roost! It will be another sunny day across Utah, with "Moderate" air quality for the Wasatch Front. Highs will be in the 30s and 40s up north, 50s and even a few 60s in southern UT. The inversion not only traps pollution, but cold air and moisture too. So for the Wasatch Front, Cache Valley, over to the Uinta Basin, the temperatures will cool a few degrees over the next several days for highs and lows. The humidity will increase as well, and we'll have to watch out for areas of fog in the morning toward the weekend. This ridge of high pressure will maintain this weather pattern through most of next week. So the "moderate" air quality will turn "unhealthy" toward the weekend, and then "bad" for everyone next week.

Have a great Thursday. It's almost the weekend!
