Diamonds Direct is partnering with Make-A-Wish Utah to help make dreams come true this month.
Make-A-Wish's mission is to, "grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experiences with hope, strength and and joy."
They offer children four wish types:
- I wish to have...
- I wish to meet...
- I wish to be...
- I wish to to go...
Make-A-Wish Utah is granting more wishes than ever before, but there are still over 170 Utah children waiting for their wish to be granted. Their vision is to reach EVERY eligible child in the state.
Adalyn and her family joined us today to share her wish of going to Walt Disney World. Adalyn was diagnosed with a congenial cardiac condition that qualified her to receive a wish.
Diamonds Direct is helping wishes like Adalyn's come true with their month of giving throughout October. MIchelle Lewis explained that Diamonds Direct will donate $100.00 of all engagement ring sales and sales from the company’s specially-curated Make-A-Wish themed collection at their Murray location to Make-A-Wish Utah.
Customers are also encouraged to come into the story to make a donation to Make-A-Wish Utah, independent of a purchase.
