Bacon and Egg Pie

Bacon and Egg Pie
•12 eggs
•1 lb. bacon
•1 box of pastry (savory)
•Salt and pepper
•Pie tin

Preheat oven to 390
•Layer the bottom of the pie tin with the pastry
•Slice bacon and layer on top of the pastry crust
•Crack 6 whole eggs on top of the bacon layer
•Break apart the yolks of each egg
•Add another layer of bacon, and crack 5 of the remaining eggs on top and add salt and pepper.
•Add the second layer of pastry to the top, pushing down around the edges of the pie.
•Beat the remaining egg and brush over the crust.
•Use a fork to make several small air vents in the top crust
•Bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown
