Where to find the best local produce in September

Raven Albertson, BS, CHES | PSE Coordinator from Utah State University travels throughout the state to teach people how to eat healthy on a budget and how to pick out the best local fruit during the September season. 
Food Sense, a Utah State University based program, travels throughout the state to inform the community about why buying locally grown fruits and vegetables are a healthier and a more cost efficient choice.  
Farmer's markets and local farms with storefronts are a great place to find local produce and support local farmers. One reason to eat local foods is to avoid eating foods with a lot of preservatives. It's healthy to eat foods that haven't been touched with a lot of man made chemicals.
