Nicea and her daughter Natalie sat down with Dr. Joe from Apex Dental to talk about a procedure that Natalie recently underwent. This procedure is called a frenectomy, and your child might need it too! This exciting procedure can help fix gapped teeth. It works by removing the fibrous tissue, called a frenum, in between the two front teeth. It can also be preformed under the tongue. The tissue is removed using a laser. The patient is numbed so the procedure is painless, and you get to watch a movie while you undergo the surgery! Prescription pain medicine is not needed.

To schedule an appointment to see Dr. Joe visit the Apex Dental website! With locations all over Utah you can visit them in West Jordan, Riverton, Draper, Stansbury Park, or Murray -- getting to the dentist has never been this simple.
