Safe to eat cookie dough

Tina Koch, owner of Straws, offers edible cookie dough which is sold at their location.

Snacking on cookie dough has always been a must when baking cookies, but now there is a safe version to eat that doesn't involve any eggs. The flour used in this dough is heat treated and there are no preservatives involved. Straws offers a variety of cookie dough flavors including vegan and gluten free options.

Not only does Straws offer cookie dough, they also provide a variety of drinks and snacks. These include, soda's, 100% fruit smoothies, warm pretzels, cookies, shaved ice, and Dole Whip in pineapple and raspberry flavors. They also note that their ice has less air so it doesn't melt as fast preventing the diluting of your drink while still keeping it colder longer.

Visit Straws for a tasty treat this summer.

Straws is located at:

7386 South Union Park Ave. (1300 East)
