The Hibiscus also known as Mallow has incredibly large, beautiful blooms on showy foliage. This variety is called “Copper King”.
For more fun with foliage try Staghorn Sumac – “Tiger Eyes”.

Another foliage that will flower later is Stonecrop “Sunsparkler Dazzleberry.”

Hypericum/St. John’s Wort has beautiful berries in “Pumpkin” or “White.”

You can’t go wrong with summer blooming Goldstrum/Black eyed susan.

For spires of fragrance, Agastache/Hummingbird Mint “ Summer Raspberry.”

Lastly Guara/Indian Feathers “Passionate Rainbow” has reddish foliage that will later be topped with airy pink and white blooms.
On a closing note, don’t forget to take care of your lawn. Milgorite is an organic fertilizer to apply now that your lawn will thank you for.
