2 Hot Chocolate Themed DIY Neighbor Gifts

Amber Packer designed a "sweet" neighbor gift to share this holiday season! It is quick, easy to make and your kids can help you too! She also shared how to make chocolate dipped spoons to stir hot chocolate with! 
 
Peppermint Hot Chocolate Neighbor Gifts
 
Supplies:
  • Wide Mouth Mason Jars (half-pint, pint or quart size)
  • Stevens Peppermint Hot Chocolate Mix
  • Chocolate Chips 
  • Marshmallows (peppermint or regular)
  • Peppermint Candy Canes
  • Optional: sprinkles
  • Cardstock
  • Bakers Twine
Also Used:
  • Cardstock (print tags from www.amberpacker.com/patterns), Bakers Twine or ribbon, small bell, wood gift tags and gold brush pen (optional).
 
Chocolate Dipped Spoons
 
Proportions:
Half-Pint Jar (Serves: 1)
  • 1/3 cup mix (3 ½ rounded T)
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips (handful)
  • Marshmallows
  • Crushed Candy canes
  • Sprinkles, optional
Pint Jar (Serves: 3)
  • 1 cup mix (3 ½ rounded T)
  • Approx. 3/4 cup chocolate chips (handful)
  • Marshmallows
  • Crushed Candy canes
  • Sprinkles, optional
Quart Jar (Serves: 6)
  • 2 cups mix (3 ½ rounded T)
  • Approx. 1 ½ cup chocolate chips (handful)
  • Marshmallows
  • Crushed Candy canes
  • Sprinkles, optional
 
Instructions:
Warm 1 cup of water per serving on the stove, remove marshmallows, candy canes and sprinkles, add mix and chocolate chips to warm water, use whisk or hand blender (our preferred method) to mix, separate into hot chocolate cups, add marshmallows and sprinkles.
