Wicked is Playing Now at Capitol Theatre, Nicea Takes Us Behind the Scenes

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (Good 4 Utah) - The musical that tells what happened before the Wizard of Oz is now playing for Utah audiences at the Capitol Theatre.

"Wicked" is a vivid reimagining of the timeless classic that spotlights the stories of Oz’s most famous—and infamous—characters. It’s a cautionary tale about love, friendship, and trust that reveals there are always two sides to every story.

The show is part of Broadway Across America which aims to bring the finest touring productions of popular Broadway shows to cities in the U.S.

Company manager Steve Quinn says this is as close to New York City Broadway as you are going to get here in Utah. The Capitol Theatre’s intimate feel makes this hugely popular show come alive.

Utah audiences love “Wicked”. The production is back for a third run in Utah and plays to sold-out crowds and standing ovations every night. "Wicked" runs through August and there are still tickets available.
