Film critic Tony Toscano was in the studio to talk about two new movies hitting the box office today—Disney's new animated film "Planes: Fire and Rescue" and "Sex Tape".

"Planes: Fire and Rescue" - When world-famous air racer Dusty learns that his engine is damaged and he may never race again, he must shift gears and is launched into the world of aerial firefighting. Dusty joins forces with veteran fire and rescue helicopter Blade Ranger and his team, a bunch of all-terrain vehicles known as The Smokejumpers. Together, the fearless team battles a massive wildfire, and Dusty learns what it takes to become a true hero.

The movie features the voice talents of Dane Cook, Julie Bowen, Terri Hatcher, and Brad Garrett. The film honestly is better than the original and is terrifically animated. The injured warrior story works well and the film actually pays homage to our nation's first responders. "Planes: Fire & Rescue" gets a B+ and is r
ated PG for action and some peril.

"Sex Tape" - A married couple wake up to discover that the sex tape they made the evening before has gone missing, leading to a frantic search for its whereabouts.

The movie stars Cameron Diaz, Jason Segel, Rob Lowe, and Ellie Kemper. This is an uneven comedy at best. Although I laughed at a few moments, the film is mostly a bland comedy with little going for it's 90 minutes. It gets a C- and is rated R for strong sexual content, nudity, language and some drug use.
