Collie, who suffered through multiple injuries during his 4-year NFL career, played in just one game last season after rupturing a patellar tendon in his right knee.
Collie, diagnosed with three concussions over the past 22½ months and who left another game during that span with what team officials described as "concussion-like symptoms," spent four seasons with the team. He had 257 catches for 1,845 and 16 touchdowns with the Colts.
A 4th-round draft pick by Indianapolis in 2009, Collie is BYU's all-time receiving yards leader with 3,255. He also holds BYU records for most touchdown catches in a career (30), most yards in a season (1,538) and most 100-yard receiving games (17).
