Curtis' Wednesday Pinpoint Forecast

Happy Pioneer Day! Watch out for storms and a RED FLAG WARNING for northern Utah.
Wednesday's Pinpoint Forecast: Happy Pioneer Day!  Weather for parades this morning will be great, just partly cloudy and cooler because of that cloud cover.  There are thunderstorms and heavy rain down around Escalante and Loa that will be headed north through the morning, and arrive along the Wasatch Front later this afternoon and evening.  The good news is most of the storms should be winding down in time for fireworks this evening.  Highs will be in the 80s and 90s statewide, with thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon and evening.  Be careful with fireworks, as there's a RED FLAG WARNING for dangerous fire weather conditions across northern Utah, including the Wasatch Front.  Thursday will be a drier, mostly sunny day.  Highs will be in the 90s for most of northern Utah, and up to 105 around Dixie.  For Friday and the weekend, scattered to numerous thunderstorms will move across the state each afternoon and evening.  If you're headed into the mountains, bring the rain gear for sure.
Have a great holiday!
