Curtis' Wednesday Pinpoint Forecast

WIND ADVISORY for southern UT.
Wednesday's Pinpoint Forecast: The cold front has stalled out between SLC and Provo.  Today, north of Provo will mostly cloudy with showers and an isolated thunderstorm.  Highs will be in the 50s to around 60 with snow levels slowly falling from around 9000' down to 7000' by tomorrow morning.  South of Provo, it will be partly cloudy, mild to warm, and windy.  Highs will be in the 70s and 80s.  The cold front will slowly push through the state on Thursday, and it will get colder and colder. Highs will only be in the 40s and 50s up north, 60s to near 80 down south.  Snow levels will drop to around 6500' by Thursday evening with Park City to southwest Wyoming picking up some accumulation.  Friday, morning rain and snow showers up north will taper off with the clouds breaking up by afternoon.  It will be chilly, with highs only in the 40s and 50s up north, and 50s and 60s down south.  Friday night will be the coldest night of the season, with many areas seeing their first frost/freeze.  High pressure will move in for the weekend, warming things up under mostly sunny skies.
