Curtis' Tuesday Pinpoint Forecast

WIND ADVISORY has been issued for western UT and central NV.
Tuesday's Pinpoint Forecast: Windy & Warm to Cool & Crisp.  A WIND ADVISORY has been issued for western UT and central NV for gusts possibly over 45mph.  A strong south wind will drive temps way above average today, highs will be in the 80s to near 90 for the Wasatch Front and northern UT.  Southern UT will get up to the 80s and mid 90s.  Isolated strong storms are possible across northern areas and the Uinta Basin.  Tonight, the cold front will push through, and Wednesday will certainly feel more like fall.  Highs will only be in the 50s and 60s up north, 70s and 80s down south, but 30s and 40s in the mountains!  It will be mostly sunny, brisk, and beautiful.  Wednesday night, the first frost of the season is likely for the Wasatch Back up to around Cache Valley.  While the Wasatch Front will be chilly (40s), frost will not happen.  Thursday will be another beautiful late summer day, and warm air will move in for Friday and Saturday.  Sunday and Monday, another cooler shot of air will move in for the official start of Autumn.
Have a great Tuesday.
