Warm & Windy, then Wet & Wintry
Tuesday's Pinpoint Forecast: Warm and windy today, with mostly sunny skies becoming partly cloudy this afternoon. Highs will be in the 70s and 80s across the state. South winds will pick up to 30mph+ this afternoon. The Big Chill with a cold front will arrive early tomorrow morning. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy for the Wasatch Front and northern UT, with a few light showers and a snow level up around 8000', highs will be in the 40s and 50s. Southern Utah will be partly cloudy, windy, and warm with highs in the 70s and low 80s. Thursday, low pressure will move across northern UT. It will be chilly with showers and mountain snow. Highs will be in the 40s to low 50s, but 30s in the mountains. Accumulation will be 1-3" above 7000, and as much as 6-12" above 9000' in the Cottonwood Canyons and Uintas. Friday, a few snow showers will linger in the morning with clearing in the afternoon. This weekend, there will be chilly mornings with the first frost of the season for the Wasatch Front, but highs will be in the 60s and 70s with gorgeous sunny skies.
