Curtis' Friday Pinpoint Forecast

Monsoon storms take a break this weekend.
Friday's Pinpoint Forecast: It's Friday!, so does the weather matter? Yes, that's why I'll give it to you. Drier air and lower humidity is moving into northern Utah, suppressing storms to the central and southern mountains over the next few days. Flash flooding is still a possibility with some of these storms. Highs will be in the 90s to around 100 for northern Utah, and in the 90s to around 105 across southern Utah. Saturday and Sunday will be similar, with sunny and hot conditions for northern Utah, with scattered thunderstorms for the southern half of the state mainly over the mountains. The monsoon moisture and thunderstorms will make a return starting around Pioneer day, and temperatures will cool down a few degrees with the moisture.
A bunch of the ABC4 Utah team will be in the Draper Days Parade tomorrow morning. See you there! Have a great weekend!
