PROVO, Utah (AP) - A woman who was seriously injured in a fatal Provo apartment fire last year has died, and prosecutors are looking into whether the two incidents are connected.

Jeanette Spahr had severe burns and other permanent injuries after leaping from her burning second-story unit at The Boulders apartments on March 14, 2011. She was 51 at the time.

Spahr died Saturday, according to former neighbor Emily Stone.

Yvette Kimber has already been charged with starting that fire and causing the death of two women. Kimber also faces an aggravated assault charge for Spahr's injuries, but could potentially face more severe charges if Spahr's death is linked to the fire.

Utah County prosecutor Mariane O'Bryant tells The Daily Herald she has asked police to look into Spahr's cause of death.
