Eric and Dea Millerberg have a long criminal history.
Eric and Dea Millerberg are perhaps among the last people to see the missing North Ogden teen alive. She was babysitting the couple’s two young children on September 9th. She left their home and has not been seen since.
With the discovery of the body in Morgan County, we may soon have more answers, but questions continue to surround the Millerberg couple. Who are they?
Eric has a long criminal record dating back to the early 1990s, with charges filled across the Wasatch front involving burglary, drug possession and stolen credit cards.
The latest arrest was on October 7th, when both Eric and his wife Dea were arrested on drug charges. Two days later, their home was searched by Weber County Homicide Task Force.
The Millerberg’s neighbors did not want to go on camera, afraid for their safety as the couple comes home. But they did tell ABC4, off camera, the family's home had been an eyesore of their street. One neighbor went as far as to say she built a fence around her home to block the Millerberg home.
The couple moved to North Ogden three years ago. Neighbors say they tried to start their lives over, but drugs got in the way.
While North Ogden police have not connected Alexis’ disappearance to Eric and Dea Millerberg, their neighbors say they wouldn’t be surprised if there was a connection.
