The evacuation orders for Bridge Hollow and Promontory have been lifted.
But 110 homes in Rockport Estates and Rockport Ranches will stay evacuated through the weekend.
Friday residents were escorted up to get any essential life items. ABC4 was also able to go up to the neighborhoods today. You can see how close the fire came to some homes. In some cases, some houses were just feet away from being completely destroyed.
There are also some spots still smoldering which is a concern for firefighters.
The other worry this weekend will be the weather. Storms in the forecast and heavy rain could cause mudslides or debris flow on those burn scars.
That's why officials are holding the evacuation until Monday at the earliest. Infrastructure teams are in the neighborhood right now. They'll have more on who can go back and when, over the next few days. There's also a hydrologist from the National Weather Service who will be monitoring the rainfall over the weekend.
There is a resource center at the Wanship LDS temple open tomorrow from 8am-8pm for anyone who needs help.
They have everything from food to insurance representatives. They say they'll stay open as long as they're needed.
