The bill becomes law May 14. The maximum find is $45, but police won't hand out tickets during the first year of enforcement.

"I think that they should ban smoking everywhere on the earth. Including the car. My dad died of lung cancer and I hate smoking," said Larry Haddy from Bountiful.
"Do you think it steps on personal freedoms?" asked ABC 4's Noah Bond. "I think it steps on personal freedoms, but I think there's a lot of people who smoke who don't consider the health of their kids," replied Keith Dashnaw from Denver.
"I think that children have the right to be brought up with a healthy life style and not be exposed to secondhand smoke," said James Neider from South Jordan.
