Two accused of stealing $500,000 worth of equipment from mining company

UINTAH COUNTY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - Two men are accused of stealing a half a million dollars of industrial equipment.
UINTAH COUNTY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) – Two men are accused of stealing a half a million dollars of industrial equipment.

Christopher Corbin, 40, of Craig, Colo. and Kenneth Ray, 23 of Ogden, were found in possession of $500,000 worth of material, equipment belonging to the Gilsonite Company.

The two men were booked on felony theft, burglary, and drug possession charges after Uintah County Sheriff deputies stopped the truck they were driving early in the morning of October 3.

Deputies were originally dispatched to the area after receiving a report of a possible theft in progress. Deputies located the truck leaving the area and conducted a traffic stop.

Both suspects were also found in possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.
