Suspects dressed like Mormon missionaries rob man at gunpoint

LAS VEGAS (ABC 4 Utah) – Two men dressed like Mormon missionaries robbed another man a gunpoint in late June. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is looking for any information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
LAS VEGAS (ABC 4 Utah) – Two men dressed like Mormon missionaries robbed another man a gunpoint in late June. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is looking for any information leading to the arrest of the suspects.

On June 27 at approximately 6:20 a.m. two male suspects, dressed like Mormon missionaries, knocked on a victim’s door asking to speak to him about religion.

The victim spoke to the men for approximately five minutes before they allegedly jumped and punched him.

The two suspects demanded property from the victim while holding him at gunpoint. The suspects fled after receiving some things from the victim.

Suspect #1 is described as a white male, 22-28 years old, 5'7"-5'8", 130-145 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, black tie, black pants and black shoes. He was carrying a black backpack and was armed with a handgun.

Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 22-28 years old, 5'10"-6'1", 190-210 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, black tie,
black pants and black shoes.

Tips directly leading to an arrest or an indictment processed through Crime Stoppers may result in a cash reward.

Spokesperson for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nevada, released this statement in response to the incident, "We are saddened by this senseless crime. Thankfully, impersonating missionaries is very rare.”
