PERRY CANYON, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - UPDATE: Missing family of 5 was found Wednesday morning after search and rescue crews were called to Perry Canyon when the family had not returned from a camping trip Tuesday.
PERRY, Utah (ABC 4 UTAH)- Box Elder County Sheriff's Search & Rescue spent several hours looking for a family of five from Perry. A relative called emergency crews when the family did not return from a camping trip on Perry Reservoir by 3:30p Tuesday. The family of five consists of two parents and three children.

Sheriff Lynn Yeates says he has an eight man crew on foot looking for the family on Perry Canyon. The troubles with the search include rough, steep terrain, mountain lions, and rattle snakes. The search helicopter ran out of fuel a few hours into the search and that temporarily halted their efforts. The search is using infrared and night vision to find the family. This canyon is not ATV accessible so besides the helicopter, all other efforts are on foot.
