Another problem – allergies. It’s that time of year weeds and mold are especially bothersome.
But Allergy Specialist Dr. Kay Walker says the biggest problem though -- is pollution.
“This pollution comes from our cars, it comes from our factories,” said Dr. Walker. “We need to work very hard to get this under control. It's affecting people now. It's affecting their lungs. It's causing increased asthma attacks.”
The best thing to do when it is smoky outside, avoid excessive physical activity outdoors.
“It is particularly hard on the elderly and very young,” said Dr. Walker.
