Logan graffiti suspects caught

LOGAN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police in Logan say 4 people have been arrested in connection with several acts of vandalism in Cache County.
LOGAN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police in Logan say 4 people have been arrested in connection with several acts of vandalism in Cache County.

The Logan and NorthPark Police Departments say they have been investigating numerous incidents of graffiti that occurred through multiple cities in the Cache Valley area over the past week.

As a result of their investigation and after reviewing the case with the Cache County Attorney's Office, police say three men and one male juvenile have been arrested and placed into custody.
 
Police identified the suspects identified as 18-year-old Mathew Jensen of Smithfield, 18-year-old Dustin Kirby of Logan, 18-year-old Andy Chanthalsay of North Logan and a 15-year-old boy from North Logan.

Police say all the defendants face numerous criminal charges, including felony and misdemeanor counts.

Those charges include Criminal Mischief, Criminal Trespass, and Possession of Graffiti tools.

Police say the adults were booked into the Cache County jail and the minor was booked into the juvenile detention center.

Police added that the investigation into the vandalism was still ongoing as attempts were being made to identify the numerous victims for appropriate restitution.
