SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) – Salt Lake International Airport police arrested seven passengers accused of carrying handguns through screening areas in January.

ABC 4 reached out to all the suspects, but only heard from one wife.

She said her husband made a decision to always carry his concealed weapon after the school shooting in Connecticut and she believes this is playing a roll in number of arrests.

Airport police arrested Vinson Minor after TSA agents found a handgun in his bag.

Kenneth Edward May was arrested Monday for the same discovery.
