Carjacking suspect arrested in St. George

ST. GEORGE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say a man was arrested after trying to force his way into several cars in the St. George area.
ST. GEORGE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say a man was arrested after trying to force his way into several cars in the St. George area.

According to police, 27-year-old Tyson Stilson was seen trying to enter the passenger side door of a car that was in the drive-through lane at a fast food restaurant Sunday evening.

Police say the driver was able to push Stilson out of the car, but that he proceeded to a nearby business, where he was seen entering the cab of a delivery truck.

Police say the workers who were using the truck observed Stilson rummaging through the items inside.

Police say Stilson left the vehicle after bing told to "get lost," and was then seen attempting to gain access to four other vehicles parked in the parking lot.

When officers arrived, they observed Stilson attempting to get into the passenger seat of another vehicle located in the drive through of another restaurant.

Stilson was arrested and booked on suspicion of four counts of attempted vehicle burglary, vehicle burglary, and two counts of aggravated robbery.
