Woman assaulted by unknown male, Police seek suspect

KANARRAVILLE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Iron County Sheriff’s Office looking for the male accused in an assault, robbery and kidnapping.

On Thursday around 2:15 p.m. Police received a 911 call saying that an adult female had been assaulted by an unknown suspect.

The assault happened in the Harmony Mountain Raches subdivision.

The female victim was showing a male subject a building lot when she was suddenly attacked by the male. The suspect produced a weapon during the assault.

The victim was eventually able to break free and run to a home about a half mile away to obtain help.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-30s. He is 5’10”, about 160 pounds, with short brown hair, blue eyes, and a deep voice. He is muscular with a stocky build, wide shoulders and a square jaw. He was wearing blue jeans, a light great v-neck shirt with black stripes, a think windbreaker type jacket, and thin cotton/knit gloves.

He was last seen in a 2010 white Subaru Outback with California plates. The vehicle had front end damage with orange paint transfer. It also had black rocker panels below the doors, a black luggage rack and tinted rear windows.

The Iron County Sheriff Office is following up on several leads and working very hard to bring this suspect to justice.
