Utah's government website wins 2nd in the nation

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah)- Utah.Gov, the State of Utah’s official website, is the winner 2nd place winner of the Best of the Web award for 2013. This is the sixth year in a row the website has topped the list put out by the Center for Digital Government.
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah)- Utah.Gov, the State of Utah’s official website, is the 2nd place winner the Best of the Web award for 2013. This is the sixth year in a row the website has topped the list put out by the Center for Digital Government.

Governor Gary Herbert says, "Utah's online services have saved the State millions of dollars, and served Utahns in innovative and accessible ways, when it comes to our use of technology, we just keep getting better and better."

Utah.gov offers over 1000 online services to the State, including renewing vehicle registrations and purchasing fishing licenses. The website has been awarded more than 100 national and international awards for making interaction between government and the public easier, quicker, and simpler.

The website works through a public-private partnership between the State of Utah and Utah Interactive, the official eGovernment partner for the state of Utah.
