Ipad solves crime in SLC

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 News) — Police tracked down suspects in a home invasion robbery thanks to an iPad that was stolen.
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 News) — Police tracked down suspects in a home invasion robbery thanks to an iPad that was stolen.
A person living at 1500 East and 1800 South called police about a home invasion robbery before 2 a.m.
Police said three suspects armed with guns entered the home, woke up the woman inside and threatened her.
Her adult son had been beaten.
The suspects left with two iPhones and an iPad and left.
Police used the tracking device on the iPad to find the three suspects at 1350 S. Major street. While at the mobile home at that location police also took three others into custody.
Police did find marijuana in the garage and believe that may be a reason the men chose the home they did to enter.
Police also tell ABC4 News there was no sign of forced entry at the home of the invasion, they will continue to look into what happened earlier this morning to determine more answers.
