Humane Society increases reward in Provo cat torture investigation

PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 News) - The Humane Society of Utah has increased their reward for information in the cat torture case in Provo.

PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 News) - The Humane Society of Utah has increased their reward for information in the cat torture case in Provo. 

Originally the reward was $3,000, but it has now at $5,000 and will be given to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.

Provo police say cats had been found bound with tape, strangled, burned and killed.  A few of the animals had been laid on the railroad tracks to be decapitated or cut in half.

The Humane Society of Utah and Provo Police ask anyone with any information to call Provo Police immediately.
