SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Each day ABC4 shares with you stories of people in our communities. At times, we may not realize what the moments captured mean to the people they are about. But the Healey family reminds all of us what is caught on camera can mean to a family.

June 23, 2012 is a day Amy Healey will never forget. Amy and her then 18-month-old Jayci waited anxiously, it was the day daddy was coming home.

In June, Amy allowed ABC4 cameras to follow her as she was reunited with her husband. We all were able to watch husband and wife reunited after so much time apart.

But more importantly, we were able to watch the Healey's little girl see her dad.

Despite only knowing her dad through the computer screen, there was no doubt Jayci knew her daddy.

Amy told ABC4 News, "I just want to keep this for forever, I don't want it to go away."

Amy has watched the story on her husband's return over and over on ABC4.com, but never had her own copy of the special moment. That is, until now.

After Amy sent an email to our station last week explaining why our story meant the world to her family, she was given a very special gift.

Amy said, "That first hug after that long year, it is special to watch and I'll keep it forever."
